Comments:
This position supersedes and replaces UNHCR’s November 2022 Position on Returns to North Kivu, South Kivu, Ituri and Adjacent Areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo Affected by Ongoing Conflict and Violence – Update III. Revision 1 of Update IV is identical to the version that was published in March 2025 in all respects apart from a new paragraph 10 with considerations on the availability of an internal flight alternative.
