Regulation (EU) 2024/1348 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 May 2024 establishing a common procedure for international protection in the Union and repealing Directive 2013/32/EU "Asylum Procedure Regulation"

entry into force: 11 June 2024. This Regulation shall apply from 12 June 2026. Article 78 Repeal 1.Directive 2013/32/EU is repealed with effect from the date referred to in Article 79(2), without prejudice to Article 79 (3). 2.References to the repealed Directive shall be construed as references to this Regulation and shall be read in accordance with the correlation table set out in the Annex. 3.To the extent that Council Directive 2005/85/EC (23) continued to be binding upon Member States not bound by Directive 2013/32/EU, Directive 2005/85/EC is repealed with effect from the date on which those Member States are bound by this Regulation. References to the repealed Directive shall be construed as references to this Regulation.
