Constitution de la république algérienne démocratique et populaire (révisée en 2020)
Comments:
The Constitution was adopted by a referendum on 23 February 1989 and it was published in the Official Journal on 28 February 1989 (Decree no. 8919) (entered into force the same date).
The Constitution was revised in 1996, and modified in 2002, 2008, 2016. (Loi n° 02-03 du 10 avril 2002 - Journal officiel n° 25 du 14 avril 2002, Loi n° 08-19 du 15 novembre 2008 - Journal officiel n° 63 du 16 novembre 2008, Loi n° 16-01 du 6 mars 2016 - Journal officiel n° 14 du 7 mars 2016).
The 2020 constitutional revision was adopted by referendum on the 1st of November 2020 and promulgated by Presidential Decree n° 20-442 du 30 decembre 2020.
