Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS): Community Court of Justice

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) came into existence by the signing of the Treaty in Lagos on 28 May 1975. The Community Court of Justice, based in Abuja, Nigeria, was established in 1991.
