Kyrgyzstan: Закон КР от 5 июля 2002 года № 113 "О судах аксакалов" (The Law "On Aksakal Courts")

This Law established the legal framework, functions, and procedures of the courts of aksakals—community-based dispute resolution bodies operating on a voluntary and elected basis in Kyrgyz villages and cities. It defined their jurisdiction over minor civil and criminal matters, methods of deliberation, decision-making, and relations with state authorities. The law was repealed in 2024.
