The Law was adopted by the People's Assembly on 20 March 1995 and announced with Decree No. 1059 dated 5 April 1995. It was published in the Official Gazette, Fletorija Zyrtare, No. 5 to 7 of 1995. The Law is also referred as "Code of Penal Procedure". The Law No. 8460, dated 11 February 1999 (For some amendments to the law no. 7905, dated 21.3.1995 "Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Albania") is attached at the end.
