The Federal National Council (FNC) and the Federal Supreme Council (FSC) amended the 2 December 1971 Interim Constitution of the United Arab Emirates, drafted with the establishment of the federation, to make it permanent in 1996. Amendments included up to March 2023 in the current version. The English is an unofficial translation.
