Vulnerable or invisible? Asylum seekers with disabilities in Europe.

The aim of this article is to render visible the relevance of disability in the context of asylum and investigate the causes for the limited attention it has received to date. With a focus on the Common European Asylum System, the research was guided by three specific questions: 1) What is the relevance of disability in the context of asylum 2) To what extent is disability taken into consideration in the Common European Asylum System 3) What does this tell us about the perceptions and structural realities underlying the harmonization process?
