Report of the Security Council Mission to Sierra Leone
Comments:
Discusses the composition, activities and findings of the mission which visited Sierra
Leone, Mali, Guinea, Nigeria and Liberia. Recommends the establishment of a UN-based mechanism for overall coordination of a comprehensive strategy on the peace process; special court; military aspects; regional dimensions; disarmament, demobilization and reintegration; role of Government and human rights and humanitarian assistance.
