Comments:
Government and civil society representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Norway, Sweden, the United States of America, Uruguay, and Venezuela, as well as UNHCR and IOM, met in Quito on 2 and 3 February 2006 to exchange ideas on how to strengthen and make sustainable the Solidarity Resettlement component of the Mexico Plan of Action, which was adopted in November 2004.
