2710. Question of Antigua, dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla. St. Lucia and St. Vincent

The General Assembly, Recalling its resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960, containing the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, and all other relevant resolutions, Recalling also its resolution 2593 (XXIV) of 16 December 1969 concerning Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla, St. Lucia and St. Vincent, Having examined the relevant chapter of the report of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples,[1]

1. Takes note of the chapter of the report of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples relating to Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla, St. Lucia and St. Vincent;

2. Requests the Special Committee to give urgent consideration to all aspects of this question in accordance with General Assembly resolution 2593 (XXIV) and to report thereon to the Assembly at its twenty-sixth session.
