XXIV. RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED ON THE REPORTS OF THE FOURTH COMMITTEE
2593. Question of Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla, St. Lucia and St. Vincent

The General Assembly, Having examined the relevant chapter of the report of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples[1] and the relevant resolutions of that Committee, Recalling its resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960, containing the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, and all other relevant resolutions, Decides to transmit, for the close attention of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, the records of the Fourth Committee covering the debate on this question, and in particular the draft resolution submitted by Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago,[2] and requests the Special Committee to consider the views expressed during the debate and in that draft resolution and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its twenty-fifth session. 1835th plenary meeting,
