XXII. RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED ON THE REPORTS OF THE FIRST COMMITTEE
2344. Elimination of foreign military bases in the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America

The General Assembly, Having received the interim report of the Conference of the Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament,[1] Recalling its resolution 2165 (XXI) of 5 December 1966, Noting that the Conference of the Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament has not been able to give sufficient consideration to the question of the elimination of foreign military bases in the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America,

1. Requests the Conference of the Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament to resume consideration of the question of the elimination of foreign military bases in the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 2165 (XXI);

2. Requests the Conference of the Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament to report to the General Assembly at its twenty-third session on the progress achieved on the question of the elimination of foreign military bases in the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.
