XVI. RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE REPORT OF THE FIFTH COMMITTEE
1738. Emoluments of the members of the International Court of Justice

The General Assembly Resolves that, with effect from 1 January 1962, the emoluments of the members of the International Court of Justice shall be fixed according to the following scale:  
President: US dollars
  Annual salary 25,000
  Special allowance 6,000
Vice-President:  
  Annual salary 25,000
  Allowance equivalent to $37.50 for every day on which he acts as President, up to a maximum of 3,750
Other members:  
  Annual salary 25,000
    Ad hoc judges referred to in Article 31 of the Statute of the Allowance of $45 for each day on which they exercise their functions, plus a daily subsistence allowance. 1086th plenary meeting,
