X. RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED ON THE REPORTS OF THE SIXTH COMMITTEE
984. Amendment to article 12 of the Statute of the International Law Commission: place of meeting of the Commission

The General Assembly, Having regard to paragraphs 25 and 26 of the report[1]1of the International Law Commission on the work of its seventh session, Taking into "count the view of the Commission that conditions at the European Office of the United Nations are more conducive to efficiency in the kind of work the members of the Commission have to perform, Decides to amend as follows article 12 of the Statute of the International Law Commission:

"The Commission shall sit at the European Office of the United Nations at Geneva. The Commission shall, however, have the right to hold meetings at other places after consultation with the Secretary-General."
