364. Registration and publication of treaties and international agreements

A

The General Assembly, Having considered the report[1] of the Secretary-General on the registration and publication of treaties and international agreements,

1. Notes with satisfaction the progress achieved in regard to the registration and publication of treaties;

2. Notes, moreover, that the number of treaties registered during the past twelve months has considerably increased;

3. Requests the Secretary-General to take all necessary measures to bring about the earliest possible publication of all registered agreements and treaties.

The General Assembly Approves the addition of the following subparagraph (c) to paragraph 1 of article 4 of the regulations to give effect to Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations adopted by the General Assembly on 14 December 1946 (resolution 97 (1)[2]2:

"(c) Where the United Nations is the depositary of a multilateral treaty or agreement".
