The Commission, having decided to discontinue consideration of the human rights situation in Uruguay under the confidential procedure governed by Economic and Social Council resolution 1503 (XLVIII) of 27 May 1970 and taking into account the request of the Government of Uruguay that the confidential material that had been before the Commission under Council resolution 1503 (XLVIII) should no longer be restricted, decided to recommend the following draft decision to the Economic and Social Council for adoption: [For the text of the draft decision, see chap.
