1983/53. Rights of persons belonging to national ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities[1]122

The Commission on Human Rights, Recalling its resolutions 14 (XXXIV) of 6 March 1978, 21 (XXXV) of 14 March 1979, 37 (XXXVI) of 12 March 1980, 21 (XXXVII) of 10 March 1981 and 1982/33 of 11 March 1982, Having taken note with appreciation of the report of the Working Group[2]123 sat up by the Commission to consider the drafting of a declaration on the rights of persons belonging to national, ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities,

1. Decides to consider at its fortieth session the agenda item "Rights of persons belonging to national, ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities";

2. Decides to establish at its fortieth session an open-ended working group to continue consideration of the revised draft declaration proposed by Yugoslavia,[3]124 taking into account all relevant documents.
