16 (XXXIV). Question of the violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms in any part of the world, with particular reference to colonial and other dependent countries and territories[1]19

The Commission on Human Rights Requests the Secretary-General to prepare for the thirty-fifth session of the Commission an analysis of existing United Nations procedures for dealing with communications concerning violations of human rights, to assist the Commission in studying measures to avoid possible duplication and overlapping of work in the implementation of these procedures.
