The Commission on Human Rights, Recalling Article 68 of the Charter of the United Nations, Bearing in mind the adoption of various international human rights instruments and the need to facilitate the implementation of those instruments, Recognizing the importance of the role of the Commission on Human Rights and the bodies established by the various human rights instruments in assisting in the realization of human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion, Concerned at the lack of adequate resources available to permit the effective implementation of human rights programmes, Recommends to the Economic and Social Council that it adopt the following draft resolution: [For the text see chap.
