The Economic and Social Council,

Having considered the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees with the annexed reports of the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner's Programme on its first and first special sessions,[1]

Takes note of the report prepared by the High Commissioner for transmission to the General Assembly at its fourteenth session.
