Lifos - Centre for Country of Origin Information and Analysis

Lifos is a centre for country of origin information. The Centre collects, analyzes and maintains expert knowledge about countries and regions from which people migrate to Sweden. All Lifos products are publically available through the Centre´s web site: http://lifos.migrationsverket.se/. Lifos is guided by its mission statement: “Lifos is an expert body, which acts impartially and proactively to contribute to legally secure and effective migration processes through reliable, relevant and easily accessible country of origin information and analysis.” Lifos is part of the Swedish Migration Agency.
