JALALABAD, Afghanistan – Afghan officials say Taliban fighters have stormed a Justice Department office in the eastern Nangarhar Province.
Local police spokesman Hazrat Husssain Mashriqwal said fighting continued on May 12 between security forces and the militants inside the building in the provincial capital, Jalalabad.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, an Interior Ministry statement said two rockets landed at Kabul's international airport early on May 12 but caused no casualties.
