Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili says he does "not exclude" the possibility that President Mikheil Saakashvili could be arrested after leaving office following October's presidential election.
Ivanishvili made the comment to journalists in Jerusalem on June 25.
"The law is the same for everyone and nothing can be excluded," he said.
Ivanishvili added that he does not want to hold talks with Saakashvili, whom he called "a talented master of cheating," and someone who "does not respect Georgian laws."
Several Saakashvili allies have been charged with crimes since Ivanishvili's Georgian Dream coalition won parliamentary elections last October.
Former Prime Minister Ivane Merabishvili, who is secretary-general of Saakashvili's United National Movement party, was arrested last month and charged with abuse of power, embezzlement, bribing voters, and covering up a murder.
