Two policemen and a civilian have been killed after a bombing in Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Daghestan.
Officials from the regional Investigative Committee say two bombs exploded on November 21 near a bank building in the village of Shamilkala in Daghestan's Untsukul district.
The first bomb caused no injuries. A second device detonated at midday, killing three people while bomb-disposal experts were working at the scene.
Daghestan has become one of the most volatile republics in Russia's North Caucasus.
Islamic insurgents professing extreme forms of Islam regularly attack moderate Muslims, police, and government officials.
