The house in Almaty which was the scene of a fatal shoot out between suspected criminals and police.
A Kazakh policeman who was wounded in a shoot-out in Almaty on July 28 has died from his injuries.
Officials said police officer Yernaz Kozhakhmetov never regained consciousness and died on July 30.
The gun battle on July 28 also left another policeman dead.
Police said security forces in Almaty on July 30 killed six people – whom they described as "bandits" – during a special operation targeting a gang suspected of being responsible for shooting the officers.
Police said the six were members of a criminal organization, and that all of them had previously served prison sentences for theft and assault.
