National Radio and Television of Burundi
June 7, 1995, in Bujumbura, Burundi
Simbizi, director of the French radio section of the state-run National Radio and Television of Burundi, was stabbed to death by soldiers of unknown affiliation in the Gasenyi district of Bujumbura. Simbizi was part of the moderate Hutu movement.
