Please find attached four articles which detail the finding of a body and its identification-through dental records during an autopsy-as that of kidnap victim Irma de Torres (La Prensa Grafica 23 Nov. 2000; El Diario de Hoy 23 Nov. 2000) and the subsequent burial of Torres (La Prensa Grafica 24 Nov. 2000; El Diario de Hoy 24 Nov. 2000). According to the 24 November 2000 La Prensa Grafica article, Torres was kidnapped on 7 April 2000.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
