13 (XXXV). Violations of human rights in southern Africa[1]30
The Commission on Human Rights1. Expresses its profound appreciation to the Government of Iran, which has recently severed all relations with the racist régime of South Africa and has, in particular, stopped all oil supplies to that régime, thereby contributing substantially to the struggle against apartheid and racism;
2. Takes this opportunity to commend all other Governments which have already adopted measures similar to those recently taken by the Government of Iran.
[1]30 Adopted at the 1508th meeting, on 6 March 1979, by a roll-call vote of 24 votes to 1, with 7 abstentions. See chap. IV.
