Please note that as a result of a number of splits in the Fedayeen-e Khalq (Feda'iyan-e Khalq) Organization (FKO), there are now several organizations carrying on political activities under the name of the FKO. The following refers to the activities of some of these organizations.
Quoting an Iraqi newspaper, Middle East News Network refers to the 1992 election of "some commanders of the Iranian Fedayeen-e Khalq Organization" to the National Council of Resistance (26 Dec. 1992).
An Amnesty International report provides information on the continued imprisonment of a number of women supporters of the Fedayeen-e Khalq (Majority Wing) who were arrested in the early 1980s (May 1990). According to Amnesty International Report 1992, these prisoners were still in prison in 1991 (1992, 145).
