Bulgarians travelling to Costa Rica do not require a visa for stays of up to 30 days (Ministry of External and Religious Affairs of Costa Rica 1999; Embassy of Costa Rica 1999; TIM October 1999). An extension of stay can be arranged upon arrival (ibid.).
