Results of the 19 December 1999 elections to the parliament of the Russian Federation (Duma) published on the Elections Around the World Website show that Otechestvo won 66 out of the disputed 450 seats in parliament.
No information on the treatment of, nor state protection available to its members in the city of Surgut could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
