According to the Europa World Yearbook 1999, the Partido Acción Democrática or AD is a centre-right political party that is based in San Salvador and led by Ricardo Gonzalez Camacho. The Party had no representatives in the Legislative Assembly in 1998 (El Salvador 1998), and no reports could be found of AD involvement in any election since 1992.
No reports of the treatment of AD members or their families by the authorities could be found.
