Staff at the Treasury department of the municipal government (Ayuntamiento) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, stated during telephone interviews on 6 May 1999 that Mr. Ivan Molina was treasurer of the Ayuntamiento approximately from 1987 to 1989. The staff was uncertain about the exact time at which Mr. Molina began and ended his term as treasurer.

Information on the president of the gubernatorial election campaign of Francisco Labastida Ochoa (governor of Sinaloa 1987-1992) could not be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate within the time constraints of this Response.
