The age of members of the Pioneer group in Czechoslovakia ranges from six to fifteen, ["Czechoslovakia", World Encyclopedia of Political Systems and Parties (New York: Facts on File, inc., 1987), p. 264.] although the Yearbook on International Communist Affairs gives the range in age as being seven to fourteen. ["Czechoslovakia", Yearbook on International Communist Affairs 1988 (Stanford: Hoover Institution Press, 1988), p. 259.] This group is a satellite organization of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
