LA DGDIR à Ottawa ne dispose actuellement d'aucun renseignement sur le vice-président de l'Assemblée nationale populaire de Guinée-Bissau en décembre 1990. Cependant, selon Keesing's Record of World Events 1990, le Colonel Iafai Camara était le vice-président du Conseil d'Etat en octobre 1990 (1990, 37802). Le mois suivant, ce dernier a été accusé de fournir des armes aux sécessionistes sénégalais et aurait été assigné à résidence (ibid., 37842).
