The Consul-General for the Republic of Estonia in Toronto indicated that the person described above would likely be able to re-register as a permanent resident of Estonia without difficulty (29 Mar. 1993). Re-registration is likely to be even easier for this person because the individual is married to an Estonian citizen and because of the lengthy period of residency (Ibid.).

This information cannot currently be corroborated by the DIRB.
