The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Washington, D.C., is mailing the DIRB a directory of organizations in the United States, including the capital, that deal with female refugee issues. This directory will be forwarded to you immediately upon receipt. In the meantime, please find attached a list of government and private organizations in the United States that provide information on or deal with refugee issues. Although the field of these organizations covers both male and female refugees, some of them may have resources devoted exclusively to issues related to female refugees.
