1) and 2). The only information found at the IRBDC concerning the treatment of Ahmadis in Pakistan since recent change of government was produced by the "Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam (Ontario) Inc." You will find attached such material relating to your request. Also, the Chairman of the above named movement has informed us that, although Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has publicly recognized her father's past mistakes in regard of the treatment of Ahmadis, there is little she can do at present time to change the situation as her administration is under constant pressure from muslim fundamentalists. Consequently, it is unlikely that Ordinance XX will be revoked in the near future.
