Further to the information provided in the Response to Information Request No. CRI9578, please find attached the copy of a letter sent to the IRBDC by the Comisión para la Defensa de los Derechos Humanos en Centroamérica (CODEHUCA) on this date. The document reports that government ministers have openly expressed their opposition to homosexuality, adding that "incidents of violence against homosexuals both in the streets and by police authorities" have taken place, although statistics on the latter were not available to the organization.
