The May 1991 Law On Regulations Governing Entry of and Exit From the USSR rescinded the above-mentioned 1967 decree. For more information on this law please see a DIRB Question and Answer report of February 1993 entitled Israel: Jews From the Former Soviet Union. Information confirming whether Ukraine adopted the May 1991 law, or the provisions of the law relevant to the above-mentioned subject, is currently unavailable to the DIRB.
