Full personal profiles on the previous and current leaders of the Conseil national de redressement du Tchad (CNRT) and the list of its members could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB. Information on the relations between the authorities and opposition groups, including the CNRT, as well as less recent information on the treatment of CNRT leaders and their families, may be found in the attached articles. These articles also mention the names of some past and current CNRT leaders and members.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
