Find attached a previous response given to a request similar to yours. However we would like to add that the leader of the Lebanese Baath party is now Abdallah al-Amine, who has direct links with the Syrian information services [ L'Express. 27 octobre 1989.].
Also, the National Command of the Arab Socialist Baath Party in Lebanon advocates the withdrawal of the Syrians from Lebanon asserting that the government of Hafiz al-Asad of Syria has committed the same crimes in Syria it is committing in Lebanon ["Iraq reports Ba'th party statement calling for Arab action against Asad's policies in Lebanon and Syria", BBC Monitoring Service, Summary of World Broadcasts.
