According to a Lebanese Embassy representative, contacted on 2 April 1991, this woman cannot acquire Moroccan citizenship only because she is married to a Moroccan citizen. This person has to apply officially to the government. Her application will be studied by a special committee which will made a recommendation to the King, who makes the final decision concerning such a case. For the time being the person will receive a green card for temporary residence. This card can be easily renewed especially if the woman has children with her husband.
