Information on a group called the "Front of National Unity" could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB. However, the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) attachment of 22 April 1994 contains information on, and a list of, numerous "radical right-wing" groups; several of these have similarly worded titles. On page 734 of the Political Handbook of the World 1994-1995 attachment, there are also listed several groups that have similarly worded titles. Both attachments refer to a group called Russian National Unity. For further information on this group, please consult Response to Information Request RUS21985.F of 4 October 1995.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum. Please find below the list of sources consulted in researching this Information Request.
