Discussing the combat performance of the Revolutionary Guards (Sepah) during the Iran-Iraq War, the author of The Iranian Military in Revolution and War refers to the participation of the Special Force Regiment No. 110 of this force, also known as Qods, in Operation Karbela V (1988, 243). Currently, the DIRB does not have additional information on this unit.
This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
