Please find attached several documents referring to abuses and violence involving or affecting PRD members or supporters in 1996 and 1997. Although some of the reports do not mention the involvement, action or inaction of government authorities or members of the ruling party in these events, the reports are included for your reference.
This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
