According to a representative of Hot Line Bangladesh in Dhaka, Jatiya Party sources consulted by the representative stated that the Mohammadpur branch of the Jatiya Mahila Dal has no telephone number and the Banai branch of the same organization, which has a telephone number, should be contacted for inquiries regarding the Mohammadpur branch (26 June 1996).

The DIRB has been unsuccessful in reaching a representative of the Banai branch at the telephone number provided.

According to a representative of the Jatiya Party in Dhaka, the Jatiya Mahila Dal is separate from the Jatiya Party and the representative does not have the telephone number of the Mohammdpur branch (26 June 1996).

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum. Please find below the list of additional sources consulted in researching this Information Request.
