Adequate housing as a component of the right to an adequate standard of living Report of the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing as acomponent of the right to an adequate standard of living, andon the right to non-discrimination

Comments:
The particular focus of his visit was on how the most vulnerable population is coping with inadequate housing and living conditions. He looked at the situation of the poor in general, but also specific communities and groups, such as indigenous people, women and children. Also of interest to him were the impact of globalization and regional trade and investment agreements such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), on the enjoyment of the right to adequate housing.
