Official English translation from the Vietnam Law and Legal Forum. The Decree came into effect on 10 November 2009, and replaced the Governments Decree No. 104/1998/ND-CP of 31 December 1998, detailing and guiding the Law on Vietnamese Nationality, and Decree No. 55/2000/ND-CP of 11 October 2000.
